Rich fresh chocolate mousse

Ingredients

Method

  1. Melt choclate in a medium bowl over a saucepan of simmering water. Do not allow water to touch base of the bowl.
  2. Separate the egg
  3. Place egg white in a small bowl and beat with electric mixer until soft peaks form.
  4. Add sugar to the egg white. Beat until dissolved
  5. Fold the egg white mixture into the melted chocolate with a spatula.
  6. Pour mousse into serving glasses. Refrigerate for several hours or until set. Overnight is best.
  7. Serve with grated chocolate on top and maybe a fresh strawberry.

Makes enough for 4
