This a self saucing chocolate pudding

Ingredients
Pudding
- 60 grams of butter
- 1 large cup of self raising flour
- 1/2 cup of sugar
- 3 or 4 dessertspoons of cocoa
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup of milk
- vanilla essence
Topping
- 1/2 cup of sugar
- 2 dessertspoons of cocoa
- 1 1/2 cups of hot water
Method
- Cream butter & sugar
- Add egg & vanilla
- Mix well
- Fold in flour, cocoa and milk
- Place mixture in a greased pan
- Make the topping by mixing the sugar & cocoa with hot water
- Pour topping onto a spoon just above the mixture
- Cook in a moderate oven for 35-40 minutes
Makes enough for 4 or 5 people.
Time: approximately 60 minutes.
