Ingredients
- 300ml double cream or creme fraiche
- 1 red onion
- olive oil
- 200g smoked salmon
- 2-3 teaspoons capers
- 3 tbsp chopped fresh dill
- Penne pasta
Method
- Start cooking the pasta
- Heat frying pan over medium heat for a few minutes.
- Chop the onion smallish and irregular. Add some olive oil to a large frying pan then fry onion until a little translucent.
- Add cream to the pan. Heat until just before boiling.
- Add smoked salmon and heat through
- Add capers
- Add dill and stir thoroughly
- Drain pasta and add to the mixture. Stir through
- Remove from heat and serve
Makes enough for 4.
Time: approximately 35 minutes.
